Simply steer clear of tour packages that seem unreasonably cheap or too promising.

You can arrange a pick-up at the airport with some travel and tour providers.

Day tours usually have meals already included in the package and a travel guide with DOT accreditation to accompany tourists during their tour.

The usual destinations for island hopping include Cabugao Gamay, Bantigue Island & Sandbar, Antonia White Sand Beach, Tangke Saltwater Lagoon, Little Boracay, and Pulupandan Islet are all great places to go island hopping.

The travel and tours that we highly recommend is the Rhett Paul Gigantes Island Travel & Tours, a duly licensed travel and tours business accredited by the Department of Tourism.

      Gigantes Island

Gigantes Islands is located in Iloilo, which is home to the Dinagyang Festival, the La Paz batchoy dish, and renowned churches such as Jaro Cathedral.

Islas de Gigantes is a destination that should not be missed by any visitor to the Philippines. This is especially true for those who have traveled to the beaches and islands of other popular Philippine destinations, such as Boracay, El Nido, Coron, Port Barton, Long Beach (San Vicente), and Puerto Princesa).

Off the coast of the municipality of Carles in the province of Iloilo is the magnificent island of Gigantes.

After arriving at the area, tourists will undoubtedly notice the attractive features of the Gigantes, including its broad expanses of white sand, craggy rock formations, and blue waters. It is comprised of a variety of lovely islets and islands, including the Cabugao Gamay, the Pulupandan, the Bantigue Sandbar, and Antonia Beach. It also consists of the two enormous Gigantes Norte and Sur islands.

On Gigantes Islands, there is a broad selection of activities, such as island hopping, taking a leisurely stroll along the beach, visiting the old lighthouse, and taking in the breathtaking view of the ocean from all 360 degrees. Throughout your visit, you may also choose to go swimming, caving, or spelunking.

Isla Gigantes is a small island found in the Iloilo province of the Philippines. It is famous for its wide sandbars, stunning rock formations, and pristine white sand beaches. On the island of Isla Gigantes, a well-known tourist destination in the beautiful province of Iloilo, it is rumored that the skeletons of enormous humans were discovered.

        Attractions

          CABUGAO GAMAY

Cabugao Island Resort is stunning. Two rocky outcroppings joined by a thin “sandbar” that juts into the water define its location. Gamay, which means small in the local language, refers to the island’s small size, complemented by lush vegetation at one end and spectacular rock formations at the other.

The great majority of tourists to the island are daytrippers and island hoppers.

For a true island getaway, take a swim in the turquoise waters or simply unwind on the white sandbar that runs down the middle of the island.
Palm trees line the beach, providing welcome shade from the midday sun.

The most iconic image of the island will always be one shot from its highest point, Gigantes. At the top of the short but steep bamboo stairway, famous views may be seen.

Cabugao Gamay’s “selfie island” is a popular spot for tourists since it offers the ideal vantage point for shooting pictures of the island and its surroundings.

          Tangke Lagoon

You’ve found the natural pool that Gigantes Island conceals behind its towering limestone cliffs. The water is as brilliantly turquoise as that in the lagoons of El Nido and Coron on the island of Palawan.

          Bantigue Island/Sandbar

Bantigue Island is another fantastic spot for swimming and sunbathing, thanks to its long, white sandbar.

          Antonia Beach

This is a stunning beach where some large stones appear to have been heaped on top of each other along the beach coastlines, making this island easy to recognize.

          Pulo Pandan

A solitary coconut tree marks the geographic center of Pulupandan Islet. Although this islet is a bit rough, its surrounding area is beautiful.

          Hidden Beach

The white sands of this tranquil area have been compared to those of Boracay Island, from which its name derives. There are small cliffs at the beach that drop out into the pristine waters.

          Mini Boracay

Mini Boracay is a small beach with soft, fine sand that has earned the nickname from the locals. About 30 square meters of sand is all that’s available, making this literally “mini” in every sense of the word. Nevertheless, despite being small, the locals take small pride in this little white sandy beach.
